imgshrnk offers fast, secure, and reliable image processing tools built with Nuxt 3, Vue 3, TypeScript, and WebAssembly. These Terms and Conditions apply to both our AI-powered background removal tool (using ISNet and ONNX Runtime) and our image compression tool (using jSquash codecs).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using imgshrnk’s background removal or compression tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Use of imgshrnk

imgshrnk provides two main tools:

• Background Removal: Remove backgrounds from images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF) using AI-powered ISNet neural network, with outputs in PNG, WebP, or JPEG.
• Image Compression: Compress images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, with BMP and TIFF as input-only) using jSquash WebAssembly codecs.

You may:

• Use our drag-and-drop interface to upload and process images.
• Download processed images individually or via batch download.
• View processing statistics for your files.

You agree not to misuse imgshrnk, including:

• Uploading illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer our WebAssembly codecs or neural network models.
• Overloading our parallel processing or batch download features.

3. Intellectual Property

imgshrnk, including its code, design, jSquash codecs, ISNet neural network integration, Vite build, and Tailwind CSS interface, is owned by the imgshrnk team. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our services without written permission.

4. User Content

Images you upload for background removal or compression are processed client-side using WebAssembly and not stored on our servers. You retain ownership of your images and are responsible for ensuring they comply with applicable laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

imgshrnk is provided “as is.” We strive for high-quality results but are not liable for:

• Data loss or corruption during processing.
• Errors in background removal (e.g., imperfect segmentation) or compression quality.
• Service interruptions or browser compatibility issues.

Our fallback Canvas API ensures functionality, but results may vary based on your device, browser, or image complexity (e.g., up to 4096×4096 pixels for background removal, 8192×8192 for compression).

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to imgshrnk if you violate these Terms, such as by uploading prohibited content, misusing processing features, or attempting to bypass our client-side protections.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect improvements to our background removal or compression tools or to comply with legal requirements. Changes will be posted here, effective immediately.
